1. Initial Inquiry (6-8 Months Before Mailing)
Every project begins with your inquiry. Share a few details about your wedding—date, location, style, and any ideas you already have in mind. This gives me a first glimpse into your vision and helps determine how I can best support you.
2. Discovery Call
Next, we’ll schedule a phone call to dive deeper. This is where I learn more about your aesthetic, priorities, and the overall experience you want to create for your guests. We’ll also review your timeline and budget to ensure everything aligns from the start.
3. In-Person Design Appointment
Following our conversation, we'll set up an in-person appointment—one of the most exciting parts of the process. You’ll explore a curated selection of paper stocks, printing methods, color palettes, and embellishments. This hands-on experience ensures every detail feels intentional and cohesive.
4. Custom Design & Proofing
With a clear direction in place, I’ll begin creating your custom design. You’ll receive initial concepts that reflect everything we’ve discussed.
5. Production
Once your design is approved, it moves into production. Printing timelines vary depending on the methods selected.
When to Mail Your Invitations
Wedding invitations are typically mailed 12 weeks before your wedding date (or earlier for destination weddings), so building in adequate time for design and production is key.
